| Subcommander T'Pol, Dr. Phlox (Star Trek: Enterprise). The "mission on Fraddock's ship" occurred in a story of mine on my original fanfiction site, Eight is Enough (2002), a coda to the Enterprise episode Cold Front (2002) and a Doctor Who crossover, of which this cartoon was the epilogue. It's obvious that those were the absolute earliest days of triangle figures, before I even started giving them arms and feet. This cartoon is the first of a projected series of reprint/redraws of cartoons and short stories from my original fanfiction site which shipped Archer, T'Pol, and Tucker. You may already be familiar with several Three Faces cartoons on the same theme, such as this one, but which are set after the relationship is established and are indexed in the archive page "Small groups sharing a theme" columns under "A T & T". The originating cartoons/stories were written and posted on my other site while Enterprise aired before triangle cartoons had their own title. As with this cartoon, I mean to condense each of the old stories into a single Three Faces installment; because I've just realized as of this writing there are hardly Enterprise cartoons at Three Faces set during the first two seasons. They'll all be indexed under A T & T as they update. I like to resolve love triangles with happy threesomes; I blame T. H. White. (You may be thinking, "Yeah, there's T'Pol/Trip in screen continuity, but the showrunners never paired Archer and T'Pol." No? Think A Night in Sickbay. Think Twilight.) |
