Fred (Angel), the Doctor [a different incarnation] (Doctor Who). I realized quite some time after drawing and posting this one that the presence of Fred in this panel - the presence of Fred alongside this incarnation of the Doctor - accidentally vindicates what the Doctor implies back in this earlier cartoon. I say accidentally because I didn't realize when I was drawing this one that it portrays Fred present after the advent of Illyria and after the events of the Angel series finale. Or, maybe, I did realize and don't remember I realized. I do remember that I was determined to have someone named Fred in this panel because of the allusion in the last one to Romana's first onscreen appearance, and this was the only person named Fred I could think of from remotely an approrpiate point in time. Perhaps I realized I was making a chronological error (except for what the Doctor says in that previous cartoon) and decided I didn't care. ...You know, Fred is wearing Illyria's color in this.
