| Peri (Doctor Who, Doctor Who: The Eternal Mystery), Hawkeye, Clete Roberts, Roberts' cameraman (W*A*L*T*E*R). (In the opening scenes of the unsold pilot W*A*L*T*E*R, Radar/Walter and the other characters watch the airing of Roberts' post-war interview with Walter. Roberts mentions in his introduction to Walter's interview that the previously aired followup to his MASH interviews had been with Hawkeye - thus, technically, making post-war Hawkeye a W*A*L*T*E*R character if an offscreen one. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. This gag required that Hawkeye be a character in a franchise concurrent to Peri's time on Doctor Who, as opposed to any other companion, for reasons which are apparent in the final panel. Also The Hero of Three Faces has already established that Peri is the Heinlein reader in the TARDIS' passenger history. (At time of updating this cartoon it's the only W*A*L*T*E*R cartoon at The Hero of Three Faces [the one about his wedding is technically an AfterM*A*S*H cartoon], and it doesn't have Walter in it. I feel bad about that and will fix it as soon as I can. Tomorrow, hopefully. EDIT Done.) |
