Ollie*, Hawkeye, B.J. (M*A*S*H).

This is the earliest cartoon in production order, and at this writing in chronological order, which makes it apparent that in The Hero of Three Faces continuity Ollie doesn't leave the hospital unit early on as he does (or seems to) in screen continuity.

Ollie's dialog in this panel is from the novel.

* It's come to my attention that Dr. Oliver Wendell Jones' nickname in the sources is a racial slur.

Ollie, Hawkeye, B.J., Trapper John (M*A*S*H Goes To Maine [as sequel to tv series instead of to novel]).

In the novels M*A*S*H Goes to Maine (1972) and M*A*S*H Mania (1977) Trapper John, Duke, and Ollie join Hawkeye in surgical practice in Hawkeye's beloved rural Maine from the 50s through the mid 70s. I read once that the reason the M*A*S*H tv show came about was that they were trying to turn M*A*S*H Goes to Maine into a sequel to the movie and it wouldn't gel. This panel implies the same events occur in the M*A*S*H tv continuity, with B.J. in place of Duke, though the appearance of Trapper John here in the 2010s looks like he's the same version of the character as the lead character of Trapper John M.D. in the 80s.
