| Gul Dukat, Garak (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine). This is the first instance in both chronological order and production order of Cardassians appearing in The Hero of Three Faces. As of the end of December 2024 they did not have tails. But tails on Cardassians have been a staple of DS9 fan art for many years. I was finally persuaded that Cardassians have tails which just fail to appear on our screens like Klingon brow ridges in the 60s, and I went back and added tails to the four or five instances at the time of Cardassians in Three Faces. |
