Every page on this site including this one, at the far right of the top banner, has the Hero of Three Faces update schedule announced as, "usually daily about 19:00 US Central, with annual summer hiatus." Modifying this announcement on every page is an impractical task, for my webcoding skills have expanded very little since 1997, and modifying that section of every page would entail editing the HTML file for every screen of every page on the site. But there are times in every webcartoonist's life when outside circumstances demand other prioritization than update schedule. For those times, the text of that announcement section on the front page and on the latest updates page will be modified and will link to this page, where expectations can be managed and there may or may not be an explanation for a current deviation from "usually daily".

Currently, as paraphrased in the headline on this page, "usually daily" remains a reasonable expectation.

In case of consistent failure to update without updated explanation on this page, at this time the best other places to look for an explanation would be at my current social forums as linked above.
